EWCM and timing

Anyone else feel like their body is working against them? I read you're fertile when you body's cervix will open and release estrogen, and this will produce EWCM (fertile CM). This happens to me 6-7 days before my positive opk. Sperm can live up to 5 days. What am I to do?
