How long for Glucose Test results?

Question

I did my 1 hour test on Monday 7/29. Today is Friday 8/2. I asked if I’d have my results back in 5-7 business days (that’s what the directions sheet said). They said “no, probably sooner”. Do you think they’d wait that long to call if I failed? I’m kind of hoping that no news is good news right now. I think it’s crazy to me they would wait 5-7 business days to tell someone they have GD. Thoughts?

I found out 2 days after the test! That is a long time to wait!

My doctor always tells me that if they don’t call back soon it’s a good sign 😅 but I totally get your concern! Hopefully you get some good news soon!😘

I found out within a couple of days. But just because you fail the one hour would not mean you have GD so if that happens don’t freak out. It’s just a screening. I’ve failed the one hour with both pregnancies and always passed the tolerance tests

I found out two days after. I'd call them up to check. It's possible they made a mistake and forgot to call

I found out literally at the end of the 1 hour, they just pricked my finger.

I did my test on Saturday and the results posted on the lab’s app on Wednesday, but unless I had checked the app, I still wouldn’t have known the result because my doc didn’t call me.  I passed my test though, so I’m not sure if they would only call if I failed and needed to do the 3 hour one.
