My last doctors appointment, my doctor mentioned that she wanted to do genetic testing .. especially since the father chose not to be in my child’s life so I have no idea what his family history on genetic disorders are. But I read up on it and I’ve heard that it’s a simple blood test and I’ve also heard that it’s a needle that collects a sample from the placenta ... it said less than half percent result in miscarriage but that just doesn’t sound safe enough to me ... I need opinions !!😭 freaking out over here she didn’t give me any specifics at all on how it would be done
