One step closer

🌿

I started lifting weights several weeks ago, at the gym, with a friend.. Two to three times a week.

My goal is to lose 70 pounds to get to my ideal weight. I've been pushing myself to the point of where I'm ready to take on more.

With flabby arms, and trying to flex, I saw change today for the first time.

As I looked at my body, seeing nothing but a shapeless.. "blob", I call myself,

I thought I would never see this muscle. I wanted to give up.. I thought I'd never see progress.

Though I haven't lost any pounds yet, this has given me determination to keep up. I'll now incorporate cardio.

Now that my friend's gone to finish college, I'll be hitting the gym alone for the first time in forever. Determined.

This is a drop of water in the cup I want full, but I know these things take time.

Though a small change, I saw progress today. I'm moved by new motivation!

When your negative thoughts tell you to quit, keep moving forward--things might just change for you!💪🏻❤
