when I was 14, I dated this guy who was 18 for about 6-7 months. He likes a few blocks away so we would usually ride our bikes to see each other because he didn’t have a license. I ended up breaking up with him because he was crazy, controlling, toxic, and sexually abusive. When I told my dad what happened, they banned me from ever seeing him or speaking to him again and asked if I wanted to put him in jail. At the time, I was scared so I said no, but I now realize that that was a HUGE mistake.

It’s 4 years later and he’s still creepy. He recently found out through social media that I’ve been dating someone else for 2 years now and I’m pregnant by my current boyfriend. He texted me from an unfamiliar number and told me he “broke up with me because he knew I’d be trouble”. I blocked it and went on with my life. A week after that, I was sitting in the driveway (we live with my parents because we don’t have enough money to move out yet) as my boyfriend worked on his car and my ex slowly drove past and stared at me. He pulled into a driveway a few houses down and just sat there.

My boyfriend says he doesn’t trust him to not go a step further if my ex thinks he can get away with it. Any advice?
