Would you change YOUR babies name based on the initials?

Question

We have a name for our baby boy picked out. Torin Hawk. Torin derived from Thorin for our deep Irish roots and Hawk was the last name of a lifelong friend of ours that we lost to suicide two years ago. It’s a strong name, and we aren’t changing it. But the initials end up being “THC”. Completely unplanned, but isn’t a deal breaker for us..... and we live in Washington state 🤷🏼‍♀️
I’m curious to know what other people think out there about this. Or if you would change it if the initials were in a similar situation.

Thc isn't bad. If it was something like ass that'd be bad. Lol. I always think of how can a kid make fun of my kids name. Kids can be mean. That how I picked my boys names.

If his initials were going to be “ASS” or “PUS” or something horrible like that, then yes I would do some rethinking but I think you’re fine with THC lmao

We’ve had a boy name picked out since before we were pregnant and now that we found out we are having a boy we just now realized his initials are WAP (William Ashton Prevatte) so now we just call him “lil baby WAP” 😂

He’ll get a kick out of it when he learns what it means 😂😂 plus if you get anything monogrammed you can always do the thing where you put the last initial bigger in the middle so it’s TCH if you wanted to. Or just embrace it 😂

Our sons initials are BAR. Who cares. Most people won’t even know your child’s initials. When in school and all that, they  aren’t called by their full name and when you talk to most people their either already know the name and get over it after a bit or you aren’t telling them their full name anyway.

Nah you’re okay, rarely do you ever have to put all three of your initials on anything and  kids wouldn’t know what the chemical compound THC is until maybe late middle school and even then they wouldn’t make fun for him for it.

We aren’t changing my sons because I don’t think he’ll initial with his middle name. His is GAE. But I don’t really mind because it doesn’t actually spell gay.
