Picky eater

Dee

My baby ate whatever I gave her until about 1 month ago when she turned 1. Now she just likes watermelon and bread . I try to give her eggs and oranges and veggies green beans , and she doesn’t like or won’t eat. I want her to get all her nutrients but she just doesn’t want much. She drinks my milk and almond milk too and will drink water too but just doesn’t eat much solid food ... am I to worry? Do I need a multivatin should I ?

Give her sauces to dip! My daughter loves it, even though most of the time I find it disgusting. She’ll dip literally anything into any sauce. I also sing “Yummy yummy yummy - got (whatever food) in your tummy” & clap/say “yay!” when she finishes her bite. She loves the attention & typically eats her entire meal.

I see you posted this almost 2 months ago. Any update? My daughter just turned 1 and a few weeks ago she started becoming picky too! She would eat anything but now she only wants a few things, 2 of which being watermelon and bread too 😂 wondering if you’re still having issues or found any tips that helped!

If she’s getting breast milk that’s great you don’t have anything to worry about! My son has always been pretty picky. At that age I would roast a sweet potato in the oven and he loved it. Oatmeal and avocado are really nutritious too. He also likes refried beans which have a good amount of protein and fiber. He’s 2.5 and still won’t eat any meat. They go through so many phases so just keep trying lots of different foods!
