Baby hasn't had a bowel movement in 2 days?

Hi ladies, my girl is 4.5 months and exclusively breastfed. She eats every 1-1.5 hrs. She used to have a BM around 5 times a day, then slowly went down to 1 or 2, now she hasnt had one in 2 days but she is still peeing normally. Is this something I should be concerned about? I won't be able to see her doctor yet because it's a long weekend

My daughter has only been pooping once every 7-10 days for a couple months now.

Mine used to go every evening like clockwork but as he hit 4 months it turned into 1 poo every few day, he's now almost 5 months and he still goes once every few days, I don't think its anything to worry about

My son does exactly what you described. I researched and found out it is normal. Apparently ebf babies dont get constipated. I warn you tho, when the poop does come, it’s a lot a lot, with a vengeance...

Ebf babies can not poop for a few days. Its not abnormal. My son also use to do it several time a day to once every 2 days.

EBF babies can go a week without pooping, or they can go every single day. it's all normal. the milk is perfectly made for them, and it's so nutritious. their bodies absorb everything. so sometimes there isnt as much waste.

We’re the same way exactly (eats every 2 at least and poops all day) and he just went mon- thurs without pooping. I was of course worried even tho he seemed normal and tons of pee. Since then he started again back on his normal frequent poop schedule. I think it’s normal,
Their bodies/systems are growing and maturing. And tho they say 10 days can be normal for an ebf, you know your kid.. I’d be calling the doctor before then!!

My baby (ebf) has gone 5 days without pooping. My dr said she once had a baby go almost 2 weeks! Said it’s bc breast milk is exactly what babies needs so not as much waste.
