Has anyone heard of/experienced an OPK test detecting pregnancy earlier than a FRER or HCG test strip? I think I see a vvvvvvfl on my FRER so I did an OPK and a line definitely showed. 9dpo, 5 days to period

Opks will nearly always have some sort of line.

I've heard of it but opks aren't a good indication of pregnancy as you almost always have some amount of lh going on and many women have a lh surge before their period. However, it should be blazing positive when you are pregnant but usually the pregnancy test will be positive before that happens

The OPK will be BLAZING positive if you're pregnant. But your HCG will also show a line. A negative (faint line) on LH doesnt mean anything. You always have LH in your system. Just use HCG tests.
