Question: Medical professionals out there?
So, I’ve had the nexplanon implant for two years, I get it taken out next June (2020)... and it’s always made me bleed everyday, or spot. Which I figured was because when I got it implanted I didn’t know when my last period was because they were very irregular. Anyways, I’ve been spotting everyday for two years since the implant was inserted, and I went to the Gyno on the 16th of July, and she provided me with Estrogen vaginal cream due to tenderness on the vaginal walls. I applied it a few times and then the bleeding stopped all together. I’ve taken pregnancy tests (although I know it’s pretty much impossible to get pregnant on the implant, I just thought it was odd to stop bleeding randomly); they were all negative. I know most girls get on the implant and never bleed.. I just wanted to know why it took so long for me to stop bleeding, why I bled everyday for so long, and if the estrogen cream had anything to do with it. Thank you in advance 😊
