Nope, sorry this happened to me when my daughter was born her just showed up to sigh the birth certificate and decided that his drug addiction was more important then to be a father so he left.  my daughter is 5 years old and believe me, my daughter is better with out that low life, my husband now is her daddy and she loves him as he loves her

When I got pregnant with my daughter, my husband was only 18 (and were just dating at the time). He didn't have a job and loved to go sit at his friends house and get high. I know he was excited but he wasn't trying to get a job or grow up. I gave him the option of leaving multiple times because I wasn't gonna have a yo-yo for my child's father. He got a job when I was 7 months pregnant (finally!) It didn't last long so when our daughter was 2 1/2 months old I went back to work and he became a stay at home dad. Eventually he got a really good job and 3 years later I get to be the stay at home parent while he works. If he would have left, I would have let him see our daughter but I wouldn't have stayed in a relationship with him. What was the reason he left if you don't mind telling? There's a big difference between not knowing if he is ready so he leaves and leaving because he doesn't want a child.
