Such a crazy few days. Got a positive pregnancy test Monday. Started bleeding Wednesday (all day) went to the Er per my ob. Got confusing news.. said it looked ectopic because they saw a cyst on one of my ovaries. My numbers were only 40 hcg. Said they wanted me to come back in 48 hours to confirm that my numbers continue to go down because they assumed the bleeding was a miscarriage. Returned today, numbers have doubled. Couldn’t see anything on an ultrasound because I’m so early, but they don’t think it’s ectopic anymore because the numbers in ectopic don’t typically double in 48 hours. Left the Er with the doctor saying congratulations. Anyway, any advice on why i bled for an entire day? Should I be worried? Not sure why I’m so unsure still.
