I was born and raised in a catholic home. I went to church every week. I prayed before every meal and before bed. I wore a cross. I went to classes. I got baptized. I read the Bible multiple times. I did everything a Catholic was supposed to do

But I am not a catholic adult. Even before I found my path as a witch and before I had kids I knew I wanted my kid to know about different religions and paths.

As a witch I don’t do Christmas (Yule) I don’t do Halloween (Samhain) or Easter etc. I also do a ritual every full moon and spells whenever I need. My son will participate in them (full moon is optional because it’s not a Holiday. He won’t have anything to do with my spells as they are personal. I will help him if he wants to do a spell)

My husband is still exploring his path but as of right now he’s reading and researching Nordic pagans.

I always told my husband that he will always have my support. I would go to church with him if he needed or baptize our kids etc. I may not believe in his beliefs but I do support it.

My kid will grow up learning to have an open mind and to be respectful of every religious path. And if he finds his path and it’s not the same as mine or my husbands we (me and my SO) will participate in our kids religious holidays.
