Anyone a labor and delivery nurse?

I think I want to change from teaching to labor and delivery but I want to know more about it, how long you have to go to school all of that. So anyone?

I'd say 4 years. You become a RN in 2 years. & if you want to get a speciality, you need to go back & get your bachelors degree(2 more years).,

I'm still in school, btw and L&d is where I want to end up but I know those jobs are very competitive.

Nursing is a VERY competitive thing to get into. I wanted to be a labor and delivery nurse but it's so hard to get a job
