What’s the best way to give birth?

I’m in my late teens, not planning on kids ANY time soon but I’ve always been terrified of giving birth. And I really want kids and the 2 don’t go well together, so, for those who have kids, what was easiest, less, painful, fastest, etc. maybe even a few stories would be great to read!

Do you mean episiotomy? That’s not really a way to give birth. It’s just a small incision you might or might not need while giving birth vaginally. The best way to give birth is whatever way your body and your baby needs you to.

I was terrified of giving birth, like petrified. I wish I didn't stress so much because it wasn't even that bad. Contractions suck but after the epidural it's a breeze. I was literally doing my makeup and laughing with my husband after the epidural. I took a crowning selfie with my nurse, I was actually smiling in a photo when her head was coming out...😂. Anyways, it's really like your body takes over and your mind shuts off when you're in labor, true instinct and nature. I pushed for 30min, and got the epidural at 7cm (you push at 10cm dialated). Anyways, point is don't worry it's not so bad.

It’ll hurt like shit either way. No way around that. You will deliver vaginal unless the doctors says otherwise. You cannot ask for a c section so there’s no point in putting that as an option

Everybody is different and what works for your first baby may not work for your second baby.... There's no "best" way.
I was induced. My entire labor from induction to baby was about 40 hours. I made it until 32ish naturally but was still stuck at 2cm dilated. My water broke naturally early on. So the longer we waited, the higher chance I had of infection. So my doctor told gave me an ultimatum. He said if I continued to go naturally odds are we were looking at an emergency c section in a few hours. The other option was to get an epidural and hope that it helps me relax enough that my body can do its job and dilate the rest of the way before the cut off time. I picked the epidural because it scared me less. The lady came in and prepped me in the middle of a contraction. And when it was done she put it in. I had 2 of my strongest contractions with the needle in my back. That was the worst part of it for me. Trying to stay still while by insides were tearing me apart. But then they started to fade away. I got to sleep for a couple hours and when I woke up I was ready to push. Seriously, we had a full house. I was the only lady in the whole maternity ward so everybody came and hung out with us. We were making jokes and laughing in between contractions. That epidural turned the entire experience around for me. I actually ENJOYED giving birth. And trust me... I was just like you if not worse. I was crying for weeks leading up to it out of fear alone. Just trust your doctor. And make sure you have a strong supportive partner in their to help you. Bringing our little girl into this world was the best decision I've ever made and I hope you get a chance to experience the same joy. ❤️❤️❤️

I don’t really have anything to compare or complain about. I only have one kid, she’s 1.5 years old. I was induced with her; it was my choice, I chose it because I was flat out uncomfortable even though my bump was small. The contractions got more intense the more I dilated, I cried a little at 8cm but I also didn’t get an epidural because I was more afraid of the needle than giving birth without pain meds. Labor for me only lasted 3 hours and I pushed for 10 minutes, I took 3 pushes though. I didn’t tear vaginally but I tore somewhere around my urethra, it just burned really bad when I peed. The nurse said to use the numbing spray and witch hazel to help with the burning while peeing but it literally didn’t help me at all. A tip I learned while trying to pee is use cold water, not warm. The nurse and everyone else said to use warm water when peeing but that made it worse, the cold water numbed the area so I could actually pee without pain

I had a great  csection! It was unplanned but I'm not sad about it. 
I felt no contractions and had a easy recovery.
With this pregnancy I'm going to try for a vbac I think. Not because I want to but because I cant Imagine trying to recover from surgery with a toddler
