Do you put a promise ring on your wedding finger?

It doesn’t look like a wedding ring I just don’t like rings on any other finger

I put mine of my ring finger but on my right hand instead of my left 😋

I did because he gave me that ring as a promise to marry me. When we got engaged, I moved it to my right hand, now I wear it on my left thumb because I wear my engagement ring on my right hand and wedding set on my left. 
We didn’t plan it that way but because of the shape of my engagement ring (heart), we couldn’t find a band that fit with it. We could have custom made one for like $4,000, but that seemed ridiculous to us. So we bought a whole new set for much less than that.

I feel like that is very much a personal preference. My best friend had hers on her ring finger, but I however had mine on on my middle finger in my left hand. Completely think it's up to you!
