Betrayed beyond belief

My husband was supposed to be in Florida visiting family. He said he was going to visit his brother and m and then ride back home with his brother. The entire trip was supposed to be to get him brother back here to help with renovations. I protested, as we have a 4 month old daughter and babies are tough work. I felt like if he goes somewhere, we should all go.

Yesterday I found out he is actually in Amsterdam. Shocked? Me too. He has weaved a huge web of lies to pull this trip off. I am absolutely devastated. I never expected this from him.

I have spent the past week struggling with a sick baby and dealing with a flooded basement. All while he is on a European adventure. I got in touch with him, and he keeps saying, “can’t we just talk about this when I get home?” He says he is sorry and regrets it, but keeps minimizing it by saying, “I didn’t do anything terrible. I just took a trip I shouldn’t have taken.” It’s so much more than that.

He went with his stupid brother. His mom was in on it too. She lied to me for them.

What do I even do? 😩
