how do you know you love someone? & how do you know that person loves you? ofc you can jus ask but actions speak louder than words..it’s a general question but also related to what i’m going through right now, any advice?

You are correct action speak louder than words. Is he there for you emotionally and physically, does he make sacrifices to be with you, does he make effort every single day to make sure that you feel special, wanted or needed. Is he consistent with effort. Those are good indicators that he has feelings for you. I was reading yesterday and came across that. We don’t a lot of times feel and express love the same way that a man would. Love takes time. Between past experiences, trust and commitment issues, finding a bond over past experiences and being about to relate and being able to be vulnerable without fear is a big step for people. We all have walls that we put up out of protection. If you can bring down those walls and so can they, you are on the right track. Take things slow and see where they lead. One day at a time.

I know it's a stupid answer, but I feel like you will just know if you love someone. As for knowing they love you as well, just pay attention to how they treat you! This is also cheesy, but my husband is truly my best friend. I know that I can honestly tell him anything and he will never judge me, we're very comfortable with each other. Do you feel like this?
