Okay so my last period was exactly a month ago, and I haven’t had sex for a few weeks before that. I am on the pill as well. However, about 5 days ago I started noticing a dark brown discharge. It wasn’t much at first but about two days ago it got to the point I have to have a pad or tampon in or it’ll go through my pants.

I know I’ve read that brown discharge can occur after implantation but it’s been so long since I’ve had sex that I highly doubt that’s it. I should be starting my period today, so do you have any idea what could be causing this?
