For the past 4 days the inside of my vagina has been itching like crazy! I even have had some discharge. I wanted to see how bad it was (debating if I should call my gyno or not) so I stuck a tampon in, left it for a few seconds, then pulled it out. These pictures are my results. I looked my symptoms up online and my symptoms were pretty similar to a yeast infection and/or bv but the only thing is that the article said white cottage cheese discharge and my discharge is sort of a yellow cottage cheese discharge. Do you think that it could be something more serious? Or is it an extreme case of an overgrowth of yeast? I also read that a yeast infection can resolve itself within a week or so or during/after your period. Should I wait longer, till I get my period? Or should I contact my gynecologist? Idk what this is but it has my vagina very irritated and uncomfortable.
