So I’ve never really been okay with the idea of spanking my child. my boyfriend has always said I should as she gets into her toddler years. And recently my mom has started to agree with that and do it all since she doesn’t listen as well anymore. They don’t bend her over and spank her but they will pop her on her butt. I have too but it doesn’t feel right. . Right now she is 2&a half. I tried to tell my boyfriend I didn’t feel like we should anymore, and that there are other ways to discipline. and he said “ she’s only 2 , how else will she listen ?” I didn’t know how to explain any other ways to discipline because she doesn’t listen that well to me. Lately she has been more wild than ever. And she’ll get mad and say she doesn’t like me and throw a fit when she doesn’t get her way. Just need some advice on what to do.
