Sign of pre menopause?

What are the signs that menopause is approaching? My cycles have been regular for years. This month I suddenly get my period on day 18? What is that? I had a positive ovulation test just 4 days earlier. It is like a full period, has lasted for four days now. What can I expect this month? I'm wondering if I should just give up...
I'm turning 43 this month.

My period has been regular and then it started going wacky.  Turns out we had 2 new female coworkers join our team.  We we're synchronizing.  All our periods were off.  We're all regular now. Could that be it?

I'm worried about that too.  I'm 3 weeks late,  no positive tests yet.  Don't feel either.  My grandmother went through it early.  I'm 41, but I can't think of why this would be happening.  I'm going to the Dr Monday. I pray I'm not there yet.  Best of luck to you

I am pre menopausal and had my son 12 weeks ago at 44! I took coq10 and used pre seed. it can and does happen good luck

I just had my period with medium flow just for 2 day and it stopped suddenly and completely on the 2 day. Today is 10 day since my period and tomorrow should be start my ovulation window, and now I have nausea, cramps and sore breast. I'm just turn 40. I took a test 3 days ago it was negative. May be I'm on premenopausal? If someone has experiencing the same situation please let me know. Thanks.
