Breastfeeding should NOT hurt!

Carly

Don't be a martyr... If it hurts there is something wrong.

My left boob has killed ever since my son was in the hospital. Bad latch... We worked and worked and worked till the latch improved but the breast still hurt.

The tissue under my breast and nipple hurt all the time to the point of needing Tylenol and I was unable to cover it with anything. Aka boob out 24/7

No nipple squishing or bleeding or blistering... The latch was perfect according to the LC.

I was prescribed nystatin for yeast dispite my baby showing zero signs in his mouth. In his 6 weeks I have not fed without pain on the left... Powered through even though it hurt so bad... Now I can finally look forward to all feeds.
