Is there still hope for a positive after 12 dpo?

I took a test this am. It was the rapid results test by first response. It looks negative.

12dpo is the latest implantation can happen so if you did have successful implantation recently then it could be a few days before you see a positive. HCG has to rise enough to be detected so it just depends on when and if you implanted.
