Shopping before gender reveal?

Here at the 11th week and started to buy. Purchased mainly unisex or gender neutral onesies and sleepwear because the pregnancy finally is starting to feel "real" and the deals over the weekend were too great to pass up at a baby consignment event (bargain hunter is my middle name). We have spent a ton on IVF and surrogacy (took us 10 years to get this point) so trying to keep now actual costs down. Also feels good to help not buy new and recycle when it makes sense. Q: When did you start shopping? Are you buying baby clothes before knowing gender?

Yeah I have a problem... everything is all gender neutral since we are keeping the sex a surprise! Even neutral in baby clothes has the most adorable things! I organized by NB, 0-3, 3-6, 6-9 and the last few things on the end are vintage so some of that is gender specific BUT the rest is neutral lol I can't help myself! I'm waiting to buy more after baby though, then I'll probably go even more crazy 😂😍

I have 3 and am expecting twins.  Honestly, you don't need a lot a first.  I bought a ton of stuff with my 1st and after he was born I realized I had cute clothes, but they really weren't his personality.  With my 2nd and 3rd and with the twins now I bought a few things and newborn basics, like onsies and pjs--but I waited and I liked that much better.  Is save your money for what you actually need.  Babies don't wear an outfit longer than a few hours at first anyway cause they spit up or poop on it. :-)

When I first found out I was pregnant I bought a lot of boy clothes at yard sales bc I was really hoping for a boy. & I couldn't hold back my excitement. I'm now 17 weeks & I'm actually having a boy so it worked out perfect for me! My nursey is already done too. I got started way early. 😂

I'm 10 weeks and currently just stocking up on diapers. I'm itching to buy clothes but I will wait until I know he gender. I think diapers are okay to buy now. I know they will get used and if the brand doesn't work out I can exchange them

I didn't buy any clothes before finding out the gender. I only bought items that I would want gender neutral no matter the gender so that I could it again if I have another child of a different gender (crib, carseat, swing, etc). The day I found out I was having a boy, I went out and bought some boy clothes :)

I have bought a few things that were too good to pass up, and I bought some bibs the other day but I kept the receipt and will return whichever gender I don't need. I'm not one to like yellows and greens so I don't want to go crazy yet. Lol. But I definitely  went crazy with my first. Buying boy and girl stuff not caring which one it was and I still have the girl stuff I didn't get to use lol.
