Baby hiccups everyday. Is this normal? 31 weeks

Baby has hiccups daily and yesterday had them twice. I'm worried about cord compression.

My baby gets hiccups pretty often, this is completely normal and they don’t last long

Not to say that it isn't something worth mentioning to your doctor - at the latest your next appointment, but could be worth calling to put your mind at ease.  However, with my first son, he had the hiccups several times a week in my belly.  He also had the hiccups super often as a baby, sometimes multiple times a day.  Even now as an almost 2 year old he sometimes gets them several times a day but not nearly as often as he did as a baby.  His doctor wasn't concerned about the hiccups after he was born, but I didn't ask about it when he was still in my belly because I didn't know it could mean anything wrong.  I was just reading about hiccups a couple days ago for baby #2 and it sounded like it isn't a concern unless it is more than 4 times a day or every single day.
