I can only compare with my own household and life experiences. I have worked and I have been a sahm. Some days (most) I would LOVE to be able to go back to a paying job outside of the home. I would love to have adult conversations, have lunch with my coworkers or buddies.

But I can't work outside of our home because our circumstances don't allow and our kids need me.

We don't have friends and family who will come watch the kids for us -they're OUR kids -we don't expect them to. But it's physically and emotionally draining being cooped up with kids all day every day. I personally am never @ rest because I am always concerned about something or preventing them from getting into harmful things, or wondering what they've gotten into, or why they're scratching that area, or am I teaching them properly? Etc. Will I be able to get this meal cooked before my hubby gets home? Will I have his laundry done? I get down and dirty with our kids...I don't just leave them to play alone. I take them outside, get creative with them etc.

So yeah... Compared to working outside of the home, being a sahm kicks my butt more than any paying job ever did and I can't wait to get back into the outside work force.

However, then I'll probably cry from missing being around my baby 24/7 😂 😂 😂

Quite frankly I don't understand people who can't understand that some people have a distinct difference between the two. Unless you've never been a sahm and you've got your made up idea of what it's like. Otherwise, it's ludicrous.

And if you're not home with your babies all day and they're in someone else's care while you're @ work, then no you're not doing the same thing as a sahm. You're still their mom but you're not in their presence 24/7 taking care of everything and everyone.

For some sahm is harder, for others working outside the home is. That's why I only compare with my own experiences,and for ME (and my hubby who got a taste of it 😋) being a stay @ home mom (dad) is INDEED harder.

Being a Stay at home mom is not a hard job?!
