Getting my kids to eat more food and larger variety!
I just thought I'd share what I do with my girls. They aren't super picky eaters, but like most kids I struggle getting them to eat variety. For breakfast and lunch they eat "snack tray" style. I put various foods all on one tray and they can make their own plates to eat. They tend to eat more food this way, and eat a greater variety of foods. My guess is because it's more "fun" and they feel big getting to make their own plates. I don't know why it works but it does. Just an idea for y'all to try if you also struggle with your kids not eating enough food or would like to encourage them to try new things.
