Going to try to make it short. My boyfriend and I have been together for about 2 years. I want our relationship to grow into a trustful relationship because it is obvious that he has some trouble trusting me. No, no, I haven't cheated or anything like that, he just has trust issues, bottom line.

In an attempt to make out relationship better, I decided that I was going to, "clean out my closet," as I would say...meaning I went through and deleted all old pictures of my ex out of my phone, cleaned up my social media, and I gave him access to all platforms and to my phone. I told him this and he said it's nothing really, he just said, "ok." So I've noticed lately over the past 3-4 weeks that he's been a really avid user of Instagram. He isn't very tech savvy. I've never been the type to go through a man's phone, and to be honest with you, I've know his password for over a year, (he doesn't know I know his password) LOL. So, yeaaaa I could have went into his phone and search through it at any time, but I didn't because I felt like that I needed to trust him if I'm going to be with him.

Well, I went through his phone Friday night and found messages of him talking to one of his exes from when he was in high school over 15 years ago. Mind you, he had a 5-year relationship with this woman after high school and she got married about 8 years ago. She initiated convo because his brother died in June and she was offering condolences. However, he came back on July 28th, talking about how her getting married hurt him. She kept pressing the fact that she was married and he continued to pursue her in a way that said, "I miss you... I wish we would have been together...yea, u get the picture."

My question is am I wrong for being angry with him for pursuing her in a message and chatting with women when he's always accusing me of chatting with men, also my other question is do you think that someone who is in a relationship should have a problem with their ex looking in their phone?

DISCLAIMER: I DEACTIVATED MY INSTAGRAM BACK IN MARCH (AFTER I HAD A MISCARRIAGE). THE REASON I DEACTIVATED WAS BECAUSE HE WAS UPSET BECAUSE MY EXES PICTURES WERE STILL ON MY PAGE and it just became too much as we were already going thru so much. TO BE HONEST, I'M NOT A BIG USER OF INSTAGRAM SO I HAD FORGOTTEN TO DELETE THEM. I REACTIVATED MY PAGE LAST WEEKEND (WHICH IS WHEN HE REACHED BACK OUT TO HER SO I WILL BE HONEST ABOUT THAT ONE). I didn't tell him because I didn't deactivate it because I had done something wrong, I deactivated to kill detention at the time. HE FELT LIKE THAT ME REACTIVATING MY PAGE AND NOT TELLING HIM WITH ME TELLING A LIE WHAT DO YOU THINK...🤔🤔
