Hemorrhagic Cysts

Hello there!

So in the beginning of June I started having really sharp pain in my lower right side. After going to the ER it was found that I had a large hemorrhagic cyst. It had not ruptured, it was just causing me pain constantly. A few days later I had surgery to drain the cyst and everything went back to normal.

It is now the beginning of August and I am getting the exact same pain on my left side now. I am pretty sure that I am experiencing another cyst, and am going to my OB later this week to confirm. I know that ovarian cysts are usually not painful until they rupture, from what I have heard from others.

I really hate being on the birth control they gave me to try and prevent them. Was wondering if anyone else has experienced this, or how they have dealt with something similar!
