I just received my pump today! I just wanted to share my experience because it was honestly very easy! With my first pregnancy (about 6 years ago) my insurance would not cover a breast pump for me. I did end up getting to breast feed for about 6 months but it was hard not having a pump! This pregnancy, (currently 18 weeks and 3 days) I went through the Aero Flow website. I see them advertised on this app quite a lot. I contacted my insurance to see if they were in network and they confirmed it was. Don't skip asking your insurance first! There a bunch of different websites and facilities that you could try to go through that are in network. I filled out the info on the Aero Flow website and picked out a pump! They sent me a text message and email that said I was approved and from there they sent my request to my OB office in which they faxed out my prescription and I received my pump in the mail a week later! It sounds like a lot of steps but I promise it was so worth it! If you are approved I would definitely recommend checking it out!
