My mom is throwing me and my brother a joint party. It’s his late birthday party and my college goodbye party. However, I will be in Georgia the 17/18 visiting my bf who’s in basic and she doesn’t know because she doesn’t want me to be with him. She wants me to be with an older man just because he has money. With my scheduled flight, I won’t be back until 12 AM on the 18th. What’s a good excuse to get her to change it?? I tried telling her my job was throwing me a little party but she doesn’t care because she says I should be spending it with her
