I'm 42, 3 MC and no live births. My OB isn't sympathetic and just says "old eggs". So I started seeing an acupuncturist who specializes in fertility issues. Last week she advised me to stop TTC for 3 months while we continue to work on improving egg quality because it takes 90 days for an egg to mature. That makes sense, but at 42 I don't know if taking 3 months off is a good idea. She feels that the improvement in quality will make up for the time lost.

I really don't know what to do and I got the flashy smiley face on my OPK today. Any of you have a similar experience or thoughts? I feel like my emotions are getting in the way of my decision making and DH is no help.
