Implantation Bleeding?

I was doing the baby dance all through my fertile window and am now 2 days away from my next period. I tested today and got a BFN and also started spotting pretty good. Not a steady flow, but enough to get me down 😭 Anyone experience implantation bleeding super similar to starting your period? Also had light cramping? Ended up pregnant after all? This would be my second but I can’t remember if it went that way with my first pregnancy (which was conceived super quick). Just trying to stay optimistic as it’s another 3 months before we could try again (Husband is military)
