The ultrasound tech wasn’t there at my first appointment so I called to see if I’d have an ultrasound at my second appointment. They said no, and that I wouldn’t have one until 20 weeks for the anatomy scan! I said, hmmm...that’s odd, I had ultrasounds at my earlier appointments with both of my other pregnancies. She said oh yeah we used to do one at 8 weeks but we don’t do that anymore.

Has anyone else had this happen? Clearly most of you guys have had your ultrasounds because you’re posting pics.

I’m just frustrated because I haven’t seen the baby or heard a heartbeat yet and won’t have an ultrasound picture for my announcement. (That last part sounds petty, but I’m not comfortable announcing until I’ve SEEN the baby).

I just scheduled a private scan for Wednesday because I’m not waiting until 20 weeks 😑
