How long are you guys waiting to tell people?

We told our parents and very close friends immediately but will wait to tell the rest until 12 weeks. We had a miscarriage in December and I could not have imagined no one knowing.

I was literally about to ask this question! I want to tell so badly but I’m only 5 weeks 5 days and it feels too early. I’m thinking at 7 or 8 weeks we will tell our families. Then announce at 12 unless I show really early.

I had a nurse intake today with blood draw and urine sample but my fist appointment with an OB and my first ultrasound won’t be until 10 weeks 😳 I don’t want to wait that long to tell my family but am scared to tell people without the ultrasound confirmation. 
Do people usually tell close family prior to the first ultrasound?? I need some advice!

Told close family and friends right away but waiting for social media and work until closer to 12 weeks. Although I'm a maternity/NICU nurse and they all guessed right away with first (cant help with XRays on babies and smells bugged me bad) so waiting to tell coworkers probably wont work, plus it's in the maternity water right now lol

We had a miscarriage 2 months ago. During that pregnancy we told family and close friends.
I found out I was pregnant yesterday. We have only told my mom and two close friends so far. Probably will tell close family and friends again at some point. We aren't in a rush this time though!

I’m telling my parents next week 5w4d ish (after ultrasound) won’t announce on social media or everyone until 15-20 weeks

I’m telling family and close friends at 6 weeks (hopefully getting an ultrasound at that appointment) and will be telling everyone else at 12 weeks

With my first baby the morning sickness started at 6 weeks, so we had to tell our family at 7 weeks, then our church at 9 weeks because I was throwing up all the time and my husband had to keep telling people I was sick & they were getting really concerned 😂 my employer was notified around 12 weeks. This time we hope to wait as long as we can but if I start throwing up 4-5x a day again it’s gonna be hard to keep it a secret...
