What is the next step after co-sleeper?!

My daughter has been sleeping in a besides co-sleeper for 6 months and it's been great up until now! She's big enough she's crawling up and onto the main bed, and today she grabbed onto the edge and pulled herself up! Now I don't know where she should sleep next. It feels weird to get a full crib now. She's definitely not ready for a toddler bed. I'm not sure what to do? Any advice  or examples on what you did?

It’s not weird to get a crib. My son has been in his since he was 3 months old. Some people don’t do a bedside sleeper or bassinet at all and put baby in a crib right when they get home.

Do you want her in your room or her own? If in her own room you could just put a mattress on the floor as long as the room is completely baby proof. My daughter would never sleep in her crib, so we bedshared and also put her crib mattress on the floor in her room at 9 months. You could also get a pack n play. Some people use those for a couple years.

Usually after bassinet that is when people put their baby in a crib. You could also use a pack n play but I found that more annoying since you have to reach down so far to put them to sleep and get them out. If you aren’t ready for baby to be on their own yet set the crib up beside your bed.

I’d say get a crib. There are lots of nice cribs you can get secondhand, and then just get a new mattress.

If you still want her in your room I would do a pack n play. If she has a nursery of her own she would sleep in then I would do a crib.
