Baby boy is 4 weeks and his thick umbilical stump finally decided to start coming off. This has happened within the last 2 hours. It looks a little yellow underneath, but not red or swollen. Normal or should I call the Ped?

I have to say ew.  Just bc this happened to us today and it’s so gross!! 😂Totally normal though! My son’s fell out completely a few hours after we noticed it in the same state as your picture.

It's normal.. the cord is yellow itself before it dries up just leave it alone and let it heal up
