Medela Symphony Hospital-Grade Pump Experiences
Hey ladies! So my little one is now six weeks and I’ve been struggling to get into a good schedule with pumping and nursing. I had to supplement in the beginning due to him having breast milk jaundice, and I feel like I have been trying to regulate my supply to be able to nurse and pump enough to not have to supplement anymore ever since.
I try to nurse or pump every three hours during the day and at least once at night, and I just can’t seem to get enough for him to eat what he needs during the day (I have tried everything suggested to increase supply from drinking more water to supplements). I currently have the Medela pump in style advance and have also tried the Willow, which didn’t work well for me, but I am considering renting the Medela symphony hospital grade pump as I hear that will help you increase your supply and get some more in each session therefore emptying the breast better and increasing your supply in the long run. Anyone have any experience with renting one of these and did it work for you to help increase and establish your supply? How would you compare it to the Medela pump in style advanced? Also, do you have to pump as long using the symphony or can you shorten pumping time because it is more effective? Thanks in advance!
Here’s my little guy 🥰
