WOW I cannot believe I received so much negativity. I expected some hate from prudish women, but holy shit. I’m a damn good mother. My baby has never seen nor heard us have sex. I protect her at all costs and would do anything for her and I literally give her the world. People have family beds in other countries and there doesn’t seem to be such a stigma with this sort of thing.

Calling CPS? Are you serious? You clearly don’t know what child abuse is.

Posting anonymously because I’m sure it will get some hate!

Moms who cosleep, how did/do you handle sex? We have been cosleeping since day one and have a very active and healthy sex life (I am so grateful, I know not every couple is able to return to their sex life so quickly).

We keep her in the bed, just move her to the furthest edge. The bed is a Cali king and pushed up against the wall, so there’s no risk of her falling. Additionally, she’s a REALLY HEAVY sleeper (to the point where I still wake up in the middle of the night to make sure she’s okay). I can watch tv, play music, move her, etc without her waking up. So sex has never been an issue.

However, now my daughter has turned 18 months...and I don’t plan to stop cosleeping, but I am worried now, what if she does wake up while we DTD? There’s no explaining to her what’s happening, shes too young to understand.

Just wanted to hear from other moms on the topic...
