What to get new mom with c-section?

My SIL/best friend is currently having a c-section, which she was not expecting. I know this is really upsetting to her because this was a great fear of hers going in. I already have gifts for my niece, but want to get something for my SIL.
Any c-C-section moms? What helped you guys during recovery, or what do you wish you had? Especially for moms who didn’t plan a c-section?

The best gift someone gave me after finding out I had to have a c section due to breech position was these slippers. I wore them at the hospital and at home ( still wear them). I 
had quite a bit of swelling which is common for c sections and they still fit and were easy to get on so I didn’t have to bend over. Also they have good grip on them. I am not ashamed to say I wore these out the first week after my section.

Food. I was so hungry and exhausted.  I prepared meal for us (sandwiches) was amazing

What a c section mama really needs is help. Bring her a hot meal. Or multiple hot meals, or something she can easily pop in the microwave. Come visit her and offer any helpful service you can. Or better yet, let her take a short nap. Even 30 minutes would help! C sections are a bitch of a recovery, and we really just want some help. And mesh panties 😂

Babysitting time so she can sleep. I just had an emergency c section 3 weeks ago and I had planned a natural child birth. More than anything I miss sleep. And sleep is so important in the recovery process for c sections. If you can watch the infant so she can nap that is the best gift you can give.

Soft ice pack for incision, nightgown I hated wearing pants since the cuts so low, tell her to start trying to get that tape of her incision/stomach ASAP they taped the shit out of me and it took a long time to get off and hurttttt!!

Food! Food brought to her house, help with house chores, offer to come clean for a couple hours. After a c section you can’t pick anything up other than baby, and can’t bend or move fast. Lots of comfy house dresses, possibly nursing friendly ones.

Snuggle nest so baby can sleep safely in bed with her without her having to get up & bend over every time baby wakes up
