Is 4 weeks old the same as a month old?

My son was born the 9th, so he’s 4 weeks today ( 😭 stop growing 😭) but he won’t technically be a month until the 9th?? Is that how that works..? I’m just wondering because I have one of those cute mats that you take pictures of them on and you choose how old they are and I’m dying to use it. 😂😭 I’m a first time mom so please be gentle lol.

Just go by the day they were born. My daughter was born on nov 5th so every 5th she’s a month older.

You can count weeks by the day they were born (ex: Monday, Tuesday etc) but months sort of like a birthday on the same number date (so the 9th as you said for your baby). So 4 weeks and a month are different.

Like others have stated, I go by the day she was born. So every 24th she is a month older (so she’ll be a year and half on the 24th.)

my daughter was born jan 23rd so every 23rd of each month she was a month older.. u can go by every 4 weeks but its more confusing

How about google 'how many months is my baby's a few links should show up to give you dates of when they are months old.
