My husband and I have been trying for the last year (he’s in the army and just came back from Korea from a year long deployment. He flew out during my ovulation period in February so that we can have another November baby. We have a three year old boy and we’re all born in November) but nothing happened. We recently bought a house in the states and are finally in the same place for longer than a few weeks at a time and have been actively trying to get pregnant. My period was suppose to come on the 2nd, it comes like clock work after having our son, but it hasn’t come yet.

I want to take a test but don’t want to be disappointed yet again. For the last two years he’s been begging us to have another child but unfortunately it just hasn’t happened for us. It’s very discouraging and frustrating because we don’t want to have a big gap between our children and because I wasn’t able to get pregnant in February, it looks like we will have about a 6 year gap between our son and our next bundle of joy. Next year, because we eloped, we are having a wedding in NOVEMBER LOL and I REFUSE to be a pregnant “bride”. I’m so torn. I know our son would love to have a little brother but I’m not sure I’ll be able to get and stay pregnant again.
