How did you know he/she was "the one"? 💍💐

How did you know your spouse or significant other was the person for you and that you were going to marry them/be together long term? Mom said she knew the minute she saw my dad's picture. Grandpa said he knew when he was visiting friends and Grandma answered the doorbell. My family seems to go the "I just knew!" route but I'm excited and curious to see the other ways people go about finding their other halves. Please share your stories!!!

I knew because I cannot picture my life without my man. He feels like home. Picturing my life without him in it feels wrong. Without him I would be lost

I knew the first time we met and agreed to give us a chance. We had been friends for years already. I wanted him so bad! And I got him 😊

When we first met, it definitely felt different. We had this instant connection. But that's how infatuation is. But I kept telling myself "if things stay like this, I could see us getting married". Every month he showed me how amazing he was. Every month he showed me what an amazing husband and father he would be.  4 years together, 2 married and we are still deeply in love and he still shows me every day how amazing he is

My husband knew when we were in middle school. We dated, broke up, and had an on and off thing throughout high school until we eventually ended back together. It honestly took me awhile even after that. Not that I didn’t love him, it’s just hard to know for sure with such an important decision and I’m a hesitant and cautious person to begin with.
