I had a shower for my second (both boys) because I had gotten rid of all of the baby stuff besides my crib and stroller (and I decided on a double stroller where I was going to have a 2.5 year old and newborn). It was smaller and I mostly just got smaller stuff which was exactly what I expected :) I'm pregnant with my 3rd and plan on throwing a small shower with this one as well as I feel it's important to celebrate every baby.

YES!!! You can throw as many baby showers as you want for every single child you have! Every child should be celebrated because they are new!

I always wondered this. I had a shower with my work friends but nothing with friends and family. Baby came much earlier than expected so we just never got around to it. I’m pregnant with #2 and wasn’t really expecting to have one, but my best friend is insisting that we do. After my first, we sold or gave away pretty much everything so now we have to start over 🤦🏽‍♀️😂.

I threw a small sprinkle for my gf with her second baby. Her mom threw the big shower with her forst amd i just wanted to help celebrate my new nephew so we had a small party. I think think everyone can do what they want :)

I say do what you want. I didn't have a shower for this baby and she's my first, if I have a boy the next time around then I'll be having a shower. I think one shower for each sex is totally fine, more than that might be overboard.

Yup we’re having my second one soon. Especially because this is our rainbow baby, but every baby we have coming into our families is celebrated (husbands and my family). I do not care about gifts, I have never made a registry for this reason. People buy if they wanna buy. I don’t require it lol & we were blessed and got everything actually needed with my son. Only thing we had to buy was bottles and a pack n play because I never wanted a crib.

My family just threw me a “sprinkle” for my second. My first was a girl. The second is a boy, so they got me some boy clothes and blankets. Nothing too extravagant since I already had all the big stuff. They also got me a ton of diapers!
