feeling hopeless

so I'm almost 38 weeks and have been having issues with my bp and dr says if it's high enough i could be induced any day now. my husband was just told by his job that they want to send him out on a job 2000 miles away for 11 days and he has to go. he will leave on Friday and I'll be 38.1 and I just know he's going to miss the birth of our first and probably only child. I'm so sad and depressed. I shouldn't have to do this alone and he shouldn't miss this but our hands are tied and I just don't know what to do :(
