What would you do? (See post)
So I had my egg retrieval this morning. I had 22 follicles going into it, but they only recovered 7. I realize that it only takes 1, but I'm still disappointed with the number.
This is my first time doing ivf and my husband and I would like to have two children eventually. Since I'm about to turn 35, I was really looking forward to having some "leftovers" from this process. I know it's still possible, but it has me thinking about how many good embryos we'd want to have to move forward with transfer now instead of doing another egg retrieval.
Rigtt now we're thinking we'd like at least 4 total, but I doubt we'll end up with that many.
Anyone have a similar experience? What did you do? What do you wish you had done?
And if you had less than 4 good embryos what would you do?
