Depends on what you're comfortable with. Talk to him about it. Can be a pretty important conversation in realizing if you're a good match. My husband comments on girls we know with his friends and even directly compliments them. I know he does this and I personally don't care while other women would go crazy if their husband did any of that. But I told him from the start that I'm not a jealous person and he can do what he wants as long as he gives me no reason to doubt the relationship we have.

Depends on the context. If it’s a celebrity they are commenting on then who cares, we all do that.  Talking about girls they know or see in public is a little different and can easily cross into inappropriate depending on word choice.

Maybe with their friends but there is no reason for him to say it in front of you unless you're into that kind of thing. I know my partner finds other women attractive and at times I find other men attractive, we are both human and have eyes so it's natural but neither of us would ever say that to each other because there is no point. It will just cause hurt feelings.

My man tends to be a bit more objective when he says things of that nature. “Like she’s an attractive girl” or “she’s kind of cute”. He’s a bit atypical of most dudes I’d say. I actually really liked that when we first met he didn’t prattle on about how attractive he found me. Guys tend to comment a lot about looks... I’m not into it. I certainly wouldn’t care to listen to him and his friends having that kind of conversation. But it’s pretty common from all true guys I know, and a lot of the time it’s just as shallow as it sounds. I don’t think there’s a whole lot of momentum? behind it, if you know what I mean? ...like their superficial comments don’t usual indicate an actual interest in the person.
