Do you keep your babies bedroom door open or closed at night?

Any particular reason why one vs the other?

Currently room sharing. So afraid to leave him in his room.

Closed. One because it’s darker & quieter & two because I heard it’s recommended for fire safety.

Closed with two sound machines on because I have 3 annoying pups who are loud and love to wander in her room and try to eat diapers if I don’t close the door.

No door is shut in my house as the cat can open them but makes such a noise when he does. He hates a closed door.

Closed because of noise- baby goes to bed much earlier than us and we have a small home. Also, to keep the dog out.  Additionally, it’s safer to have doors closed incase of a fire in the house.  The closed door can provide minutes of extra time. We have a baby monitor on downstairs and in our bedroom.

Closed. It used to be opened a little bit so I could hear (she’s sharing a room with her big sister) but since they have an air conditioner in there, we close it to keep their room cold. And if I keep it open a crack, my 9 month old can stand and play with the door. 🙄

Closed,  we live in a mini home, so it allows my husband and I to chat and watch shows without worryig as much about what we are doing,  i also have a turtle and her lights are quite bright and she enjoys basking a lot before i go to bed so it eliminates a lot of light  shinning into his room
