Development

My twins are 7 months old. They would be just under 6 months old for their adjusted age. When it comes to developmental milestones should I be going off of their adjusted age? We are not sitting by ourselves yet or crawling. I feel silly for asking this! My first met all of his developmental milestones early.

Also, is there anything else I can do to help them practice sitting by themselves? I will sit with each of them on the floor and have them practice. But they can’t hold it for more than maybe 5 seconds.
